Join us for our Opening Number Performance!
Each of our Annual Showcase performances always starts off with a special performance and we want YOU to be a part of it! We are celebrating Ohana's eighth year as a studio & all the wonderful things that makes this studio shine: our dancers! All Ohana dancers age 7+ can be part of the routine (I'm talkin' to YOU too, Adult dancers!).

What's an "Opening Number?"
It's how we kick off each show!
The "Opening Number" is the first routine of both of our Showcases. That means, if you're in this routine, you're in EVERY show! We rehearse for approximately 6 weeks prior to the show - these are extra rehearsals on top of your regular classes. But they're special! You get to work with many dancers your age and others whom you may never have met! It will include a variety of styles of dance and dancers of all ages and abilities! You don't want to miss it!

We're so psyched you're joining us! Here is the scoop:
No audition is required, but you MUST pre-register! We will be holding evaluations this year.
Evaluations will be held on Sunday April 21st from 10-11AM.
Cost:
$70 for each adult dancer (does not include costume)
$120 for each dancer (includes costume)
This covers studio overhead, rental of Bellamy Middle School for a rehearsal and rehearsal time with the choreographers.
This will be an extra commitment on top of your regular weekly classes.
Dancers will be divided into groups and will learn their section of the routine in separate rehearsals, and will then be asked to practice at home! We will have all-group rehearsals in June, and you must attend them! If you miss rehearsals and don’t know the routine, you will be unable to perform with the group! :( This policy must be enforced because we will only have a select amount of rehearsals before the show.
Rehearsals will be on Friday nights & weekends beginning on Friday, May 3rd. This first rehearsal is mandatory for all participants! Any participant that wants to join who has a prior commitment on this date must understand there may be parts they won't be able to participate in due to their absence. The tentative rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Dancers will be allowed to miss 1 of their scheduled rehearsals only. If you have conflicts & still want to participate, or questions, please email info@ohanaperformingarts.com asap!
When do rehearsal's start?
First group rehearsal:
Friday, May 3rd @ 5pm-8PM
Everyone MUST attend this rehearsal as it is where we will organize groups! If you are unable to attend this rehearsal but still wish to participate, please email Ohana asap!
